A memorial service celebrating the life of Doris Monk Mcharg Gibbons [nee Paddock] in her 89th year of Packwood Nursing Home, formerly of #3 Sea Express Close, Southampton SB 02; beloved mother of Suzanne Moniz [Danny], Judy Woods, Doreen Souza [Dennis], Janet Nardi, Pauline Durrant [Mike] and Valerie Pedro [Albert], will be held at The Evangelical Church, Mission Road, Paget on Friday, April 28th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Packwood Seniors Home 132 Somerset Road, Sandys MA 08.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tiffany Todd, Sheila Pitcher, Philip Woods Jr., Nikara Frasier, Michael Woods, Leonae Simmons, Leon Simmons Jr., Jason Souza, Kandee Ortega, Darren Souza, Franca & Angela Valentino, Darren Pitcher, Janieka Fishenden, Ronnie Pitcher, Desiree Jackson, Alison Pedro; and was predeceased by granddaughter Melody Pedro;  also leaves to cherish her memory her 28 great grandchildren.

In his 85th year of Packwood Home, formerly 2 Coral Hill Lane, Warwick WK10, will be held at The Evangelical Church, 1 Mission Road, Paget PG06 on Sunday, April 30th 2017 at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Middle Road, Paget.

In lieu of flowers donations and any special gifts in his memory can be made to The Evangelical Church Missionary Fund, c/o The Evangelical Church, 1 Mission Road, Paget PG06, Bermuda.

Visitation:  Relatives and friends may pay their respects at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick, on Saturday, April 29th from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

A service celebrating the life of  John Robert Parker Todd, in his 74th year of Easedale Lane, Ord Road, Warwick WK 10, beloved husband of  Gwendolin “Eleanor” Todd, will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Middle Road, Paget on Thursday, May 4th 2017 at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at St. Paul’s cemetery.

Visitation:  Relatives and friends may pay their respects this evening, Wednesday, May 3rd from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick.  at the Church on Thursday, May 4th from 2:00 – 2:50 p.m.

Also survived by his step-children Deneice Leslie Kenneth, Judy, and Jackie Simmons, sister Nedra Cook; sister–in-law Carol Todd, brother-in-law Regis Neaud [France]; nieces and nephews both in Bermuda and abroad; special friends David DeSilva, Carmen Cyrus and Shelby Tucker, Flavors family and many other dear relatives and friends too numerous to name.

John was predeceased by his parents, Alvin James Todd and Evie Lorraine Todd; brothers Norman Todd, Rev. James Todd, Eugene Todd, sisters Sharon Langley, Evie Todd-Neaud, step-children Alan Simmons, Derek Simmons and Shirley Foster.

Jeremiah Enoch Faries Bermuda 2017[AMIS Memorial Chapel]

Amis Memorial Chapel announces the passing of Jeremiah Enoch Faries, of 6 Paget Lane, Ord Road, in his 83rd year. Jerry went home to his reward on Monday, May 1st after a courageous battle with progressive dementia. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his beloved wife of 61 years, Caroline, sons Jeremiah M. [Kathleen], Glenn, Tim [Angela], daughters Susanne Myles [Derek] and Deanne DeSilva [Daniel]. Also surviving are grandchildren Stephanie and Alexandra Myles; and Nathaniel, Jordan, Abigail, Charlotte and Patrick Faries. He also leaves behind his brother, Allan DeSilva, as well as a loving church family and cousins, relatives and friends too numerous to mention, in Bermuda, Canada and the US. Jeremiah was born and raised in Bermuda, before marrying and relocating to Canada with his wife, and establishing his career there. He returned home to Bermuda in 1992 and has lived here since that time. Jerry was a man with deep faith in God, a big heart and loving spirit and he has touched many lives in every place that he has lived.

A homegoing service celebrating his life will take place on Saturday morning, May 6th at 11 o’clock at Paget Gospel Chapel, 44 Middle Road, Paget.

Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday evening only, May 5th from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at AMIS Memorial Chapel, 8 Khyber Pass, Warwick.

Sister to Colin Seaman[Merlyn], Kent Seaman[Maria], Judith Darrell[Keith], Dexter Seaman, Philip Seaman[Raphaella], Hope Johnson[Bobby], Fiona Moniz[Carlos], step-brothers Stephen Simmons and Laurie Furbert. Also surviving are Aunt Geraldine Anderson, Uncles Edwin Bishop Seaman and Eugene Milton Seaman, Great-Aunt Rita Jones, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a private family memorial service at Amis Memorial Chapel on Saturday May 6th at 1:00 pm.

She is also survived by her sister Romelle Smith [Winston]; sister-in-law Gaynell Smith [the late Rupert]; grandchildren Yasmin Maclean [Michael], Matthew Hollis [Amanda], LiAnne Swan, Crystal Swan, Kyle Smith, Marcus Furtz; great grandchildren Michael, Marley, K’heary, Neveah, Aniyah and Addyson, her numerous nieces, nephews, the Jehovah’s Witness family in Bermuda and abroad, other dear relatives and friends.
